Metrix by G6 Performance uses SMS to deliver account notifications to registered athletes and their coaches. Message types include:
You opt in to receive SMS in one of two ways:
When you create an account at app.g6-performance.com, you enter your mobile number in a dedicated "Mobile Number" field during onboarding. Directly below that field, the following disclosure is shown before you submit:
"By providing your number, you agree to receive account notifications, training updates, and event reminders from G6 Performance via SMS. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
Coaches can bulk-upload athletes to Metrix by CSV. Before submitting, the coach must check a box confirming:
"I confirm that every athlete in this upload has consented to receive SMS and email notifications from G6 Performance, including account invites, assessment updates, and event reminders. Athletes can reply STOP at any time to opt out."
Athletes added this way receive one invitation SMS that includes opt-out instructions. No further messages are sent unless they complete their account and confirm consent.
Message frequency varies based on your activity (typically 1–10 messages per month per athlete). Standard message and data rates may apply per your carrier plan. G6 Performance does not charge you for SMS.
Reply STOP to any message from G6 Performance at any time. You will stop receiving all further SMS. Reply HELP for help or contact admin@g6athletes.com.
